CARNELLIA of Padstow

The schooner, Carnellia?, of Padstow, coal laden for Portland, Dorset, drove ashore during a sudden gale from the northeast at Portland on the ebb tide, leaving the vessel stern dry.  The vessel is apparently not much damaged.
